Terms of Service

1. The service

AI Comment Shield is a tool, operated by AI Comment Shield, that analyses comments on your YouTube channel and helps you hold, review and restore them, through our dashboard and Chrome extension. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in and extension key secure, and for activity under them. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.

3. Connecting YouTube

The service works only if you authorise access to your YouTube channel. You must own or be authorised to manage the channel, and you must follow the YouTube Terms of Service and Google’s policies. You can withdraw our access at any time from your Google account permissions page. If you do, monitoring stops.

4. Your own API keys

On some plans you can provide your own Groq API key and YouTube Data API key. You are responsible for those keys, for any usage limits or charges on those accounts, and for following the provider’s terms. If your key reaches its limit, analysis may pause until it resets.

5. AI moderation is not perfect

Our AI classifies comments automatically and will sometimes make mistakes, by holding a harmless comment or missing a harmful one. Held comments are not deleted and can be restored. You remain responsible for the moderation decisions on your channel and should review what is held. We do not guarantee that every unwanted comment will be caught.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, or to harass or silence people unfairly.
• Connect a channel you are not authorised to manage.
• Try to break, probe, overload or reverse engineer the service, or bypass plan limits or security.
• Resell the service or share your account or extension key with others.
• Use the service in a way that breaches YouTube or Google policies.

We may suspend access if these rules are broken.

7. Plans, payments and renewal

Paid plans are priced in Indian rupees (INR) and paid through Razorpay. Each payment gives you access to the plan you bought for 30 days. Plans do not renew automatically: when a period ends you can renew or let it lapse, and your account returns to the free plan.

If you upgrade while a plan is active, you pay the price difference and the upgraded plan runs to the end of your current period. Plan features and limits are shown on the pricing page and may change for future purchases. Prices include or exclude taxes as shown at checkout.

8. Refunds

Because access starts immediately, payments are generally non-refundable. We will make exceptions where the law requires, or if we caused a serious problem such as a duplicate charge or a failure to activate your plan. Contact support@aicommentshield.com and we will look into it.

9. Your data

You keep ownership of your content and channel data. You give us permission to process it as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. We own the service itself, including its software, design and branding.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. The service depends on third parties such as YouTube, Google and our AI provider, and their changes or outages can affect it. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the service. When access ends, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we do not give any warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of AI results, or uninterrupted operation.

13. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost revenue, audience or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, unless the law gives you a right to use another venue.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. We will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the dashboard or by email.
